I love to teach. I love to read. I love the power of the written word. I believe that for students to be critical in what they write they should read a wide variety of books. Reading will take students places that teachers cannot. I am a friendly teacher. My goal is to help students learn English at their own pace with a bit of encouragement from me. I hope to help student propel themselves to achieve better understanding of books and eventually better writing skills. I will require students to read daily. They will also be required to keep a written journal to help see their progress. I believe that through these exercises student will learn to improve themselves and eventually not need to be tutored by me.
