My name is Cherish and I am certified to teach English as a second language since 2012. I teach English learners from Asia and some European countries. I have been teaching both offline and online for over 9 years. I graduated from the University of the Philippines with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, major in Marketing and Prices. Teaching is one of my passions and decided to help children with supplementary lessons. Currently, I continue to teach English and language proficiency. I have conducted English lessons and tutorials for students from different countries. Students vary from beginners to young learners, intermediate, advanced and even professionals looking to hone their skills. As a Teacher, I am patient and considerate in teaching English to my students. I am also a hardworking, trustworthy person, and very willing to help you improve your knowledge in the English language. I have TEFL and TESOL Certification. I am expert in teaching advanced students learning Business English; Job Interview English; Travel & Culture; IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, OPIC, Daily Conversation; Daily News; Freetalk; Health and Lifestyle; and many others. Currently, I also have private students from Asia and some European countries. I have a lot of relevant experience teaching Phonics to beginner students like General English, Grammar, Pronunciation, and Vocabulary. I enjoy teaching kids as I have 3 adorable nephews and I also mentor the young children in my neighborhood. Thus, I have a TESOL and TEFL Certificate. I practiced my profession for 10 years and eventually I had to make a career shift. The rest is history. I became an Admin and Finance Head of a family owned construction business from 2007 to 2017. My task was to handle all administrative and financial duties, clients concerns and queries. I decided to work from home as an ESL Teacher for Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean companies and I have been teaching English for more than 8 years now. I taught English and language proficiency both for young learners, intermediate, advanced and professionals. My previous work experiences include strategic planning expertise, communication skills, develop and maintain a strong interpersonal relationship with my colleagues, students both local or international, and able to motivate individuals to achieve desired results and common goals. Currently, I also have private students from Asia and some European countries.
