My name is Jade O. Jumao-as, an English Language Instructor from the Philippines. I’ve been working for almost 3 years as a teacher both offline and online classes. I’ve gained valuable teaching all ages and skill levels that pushed me to expand and improve my presentation style. My students with different races and culture gives me a unique teaching style by being creative, engaging, adaptive and flexible. Beyond my experience as an English Language Teacher, I have a background in business. I have gained formal teaching experience in the Philippines, working as a tutor of business English and as an accountant in a call center company where English is our main use of language. At university, my life was positively impacted by my language and historian instructors.They showed me a different culture and opened up a new world to me. I see foreign language education as a key to world improvement because when we share language, we share culture and open up possibilities in the lives of our students.
