My expertise is in basic Korean. I like to focus my lessons on conversational skills. I’ve taught mostly English speakers and, as someone who grew up in a bicultural environment, I know what students struggle with the most and what the needs are in learning Korean. The focus of the lesson is to get you communicate in Korean: to speak and understand the language. I am flexible with different learning styles and approaches to learn the language. I want the lessons to be interactive. I will keep encouraging you to speak more in Korean. During the lesson, I want the topics to revolve around what is relevant to you, so the lessons can be more meaningful and practical. -For starters, your options can be: 1. I can guide you through basic lessons 2. we can study with a book you like 3. we can focus on any topics or materials you want to study. -If you are a beginner, we can start with reading and writing (can be mastered in two 30-min lessons) or we skip reading and writing and go straight to conversations. -I recommend you do your homework (I can assign it to you depending on how committed you are) I’ve been teaching Korean language for four years now. I taught two semesters at a college in the Philippines. And I’m just finishing my third year of teaching at my current high school. I started working with internship certificate, and I’m currently pursing master’s degree in Korean education.
