Welcome to my profile! My platform - I personally created a platform in the form of documents that covers every aspect of the English language including translations, definitions and much more. I normally give my students these documents so they can use them to learn so the students don't need to make any notes! So you get lessons and my documents! About me/experience - My name is Sam and i was born in the U.K. I have been teaching Brazilians British and American English for a while now which to this date has resulted in well over four years of teaching experience. I’ve helped with not only teach English as a language but build a greater understanding of the fundamentals of English and their native language of Portuguese, a language which I taught myself. Methodology - below I've listed some of the key aspects that will feature in our first lesson and beyond First Lesson - - Getting to know each other and history with english and other languages - Goals, focuses/needs, strengths and weaknesses - Lesson learning sample Second lesson and beyond - - Conversational work - Tests working with translations, definitions and emotional responses - Social interactive games and media use (audio, video, pictures etc) - Business english help (emails/letters, interviews, meetings, conversing in a specific topic etc) - Personal accent development/pronunciation, Improved accent understanding and cultural understanding - Development of vocabulary, grammar, fundamentals, spelling, reading, writing, speaking, listening and many more! I personally understand how difficult learning a language can be at a later age from nothing. Therefore I will simplify even the most difficult parts of the language including phrasal verbs, idioms/slang, even if it means altering my voice to a different accent to allow you to understand.
