Hi, my name is Belkis, I'm Brazilian, and I currently live in São Paulo. I am an online Portuguese teacher, but I worked for many years as a commercial manager in a large company in Brazil. I love to make new friends and to learn about new cultures and new languages. Today, what I like to do the most is to help foreigners learn a little more about the Brazilian Portuguese language and be engaged in our culture. I love being in touch with nature, going to the beach, surfing, doing outdoor exercises, and meditating. I enjoy talking about spirituality, meditation, politics, sports, and profound things about life! I have been helping foreigners with the Portuguese language for over two years now. I think that the best way to learn a new language is to talk with native speakers and to learn informally and in a fun way within the cultural context. My style of teaching is conversational. I can help my students improve their pronunciation, listening skills, and fluency. I can also teach grammar, and I can provide a lot of Portuguese materials to support their improvement.
