If you're a beginner, you may want to consider my Structured Lessons. - I love interesting conversations (: We can talk about anything that interests you! - I also have lots of ideas about what we can talk about in class. - At the end of each lesson, you'll receive a document with your mistakes and their corrections. - Students sometimes discover their grammar weaknesses through this process. If students are interested, we can also have lessons dedicated to grammar. 💡Writing Lesson💡 - Before class: Students will prepare and submit their writing assignment to me for marking. I'll give students the chance to look at my comments so that they can try to correct their mistakes before class. - My corrections are very detailed. Not every teacher gives the same level of attention to how they mark. - Students sometimes discover their grammar weaknesses through this exercise. If students are interested, we can also have lessons dedicated to grammar. 💡Structured Lesson (A1-C1 / Beginner to Advanced)💡 - For students who want to learn in a structured, organised manner - All four skills will be covered: Listening/Reading/Speaking/Writing - New grammar concepts and vocabulary are introduced progressively - Textbook used will be provided. Of course, other teaching materials will also be used. 💡Business English💡 - I have the relevant background to help you. I graduated from business school with a major in Finance, with working experience in an Australian tech start-up and interned at investment banks. - Customised lessons according to your industry and job role - Understand the difference between formal and informal English so that you avoid speaking to your boss and colleagues like you would to a friend - Learn how to write a resume, business report, email etc. - Learn how to give a presentation, speak during meetings and phone calls 💡English for children💡 - Suitable for children who can already read at a basic level (~7 years old and above) - Customised program according to the child's English level - Developing your child's interest in English will benefit him or her for life - Learn from an English native speaker to improve your child's listening skills - Your child will enjoy the learning process through stories, games and conversations 💡IELTS exam preparation💡 - Understand how the band descriptors work so that you know how the examiner grades you - Speaking and Writing practice will be our focus as students struggle with them the most: - Conversation practice with a wide variety of topics so that you can ace any topic during the exam - Understand different types of graphs and useful writing vocabulary - Understand different types of essay questions and how to respond ****************************** MATERIALS 📚 All lesson materials will be provided by me. 📚 You'll receive homework after class. You are always welcome to ask for more homework. ****************************** ⚠️ LESSON POLICY 1. Do let me know how often you intend to take my lessons. I put a lot of time into lesson preparation so this will help me to better plan your lessons (: 2. If you need to cancel your lesson, please do so with at least 12 hours advance notice. Otherwise, there'll be no refund or make-up lesson. 3. For trial lessons, I will wait for 5 mins after the starting time and for regular lessons, 10 mins. If you arrive later than that, the lesson will be marked as completed and there'll be no refund or make-up lesson.
